1. What these terms cover

These terms are the agreement between you and Fixadore ("Fixadore", "we", "us") covering your use of this website. By using the site you accept them.

Fixadore is a directory. You search it; you do not sign up for it, submit anything to it, or buy anything from it. There is no account and no charge.

2. What Fixadore is, and what it is not

Fixadore compiles publicly available information about trade businesses and makes it searchable by location and by the kind of work you need. That is the whole product.

We are not a marketplace, a broker, an agency, a contractor, or a lead generator. We do not:

• employ, vet, endorse, approve, recommend, certify or accredit any business listed
• have any commercial relationship, agreement or contact with any business listed
• take a fee, a commission or a referral payment from anyone
• arrange, schedule, supervise, guarantee or insure any work
• receive or handle any payment between you and a business

A listing is not a recommendation. It is a record that a business appears in a public register under a particular classification, on the date we read that register.

3. Where the information comes from

Listings are compiled from public records, principally state contractor licensing registers. Every listing names the register it came from and the date we read it.

Public registers are accurate as of when the authority published them and no more than that. A license can lapse, a business can close, a number can be reassigned, and a register can simply be wrong. Verify anything that matters before you rely on it, including current license status and insurance. Each listing links to the register so you can check it at source.

4. Prices on this site are our estimates

Where we show a price, it is a national range we hold for that category of work, adjusted only for how urgently you said you need it. It is ours, not theirs.

It is not adjusted for where you are. Two people in different parts of the state asking for the same job at the same urgency see the same figure, so treat it as a national ballpark and not as a local rate.

No business listed on Fixadore has quoted you, has agreed to that figure, or knows it exists. It is there so that a quote you receive has something to be compared against. The only real number is the one you are given by the business.

5. If your business is listed here

You did not agree to be listed, because the information came from a public register rather than from you. You can:

• have the listing corrected, if something is wrong
• have the listing removed entirely, for any reason or none, at [/listings/remove](/listings/remove)

We honor removal requests within 72 hours and we do not require an account, a justification or a fee. A removed listing stays removed: re-importing the register does not bring it back.

We do not contact the businesses we list. We do not sell, rent or share their details, and we do not use them for marketing.

6. Your use of the site

Use it to find someone to fix something. Do not scrape it in bulk, resell the compiled listings, use the contact details for marketing or solicitation, or attempt to interfere with the service.

The compiled database, the page content, the classification mapping and the estimates are ours. The underlying public records are not, and we claim nothing over them.

7. Disclaimers

The site is provided "as is". We make no warranty that a listing is accurate, current, complete, or that any business is licensed, insured, competent, available or suitable for your job.

Any work you arrange is between you and that business. We are not a party to it. We have no involvement in what is agreed, what is charged, what is done, or what goes wrong. We are not liable for the acts or omissions of any business listed here, and we do not mediate disputes between you and them.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Fixadore is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue or property damage, arising from your use of the site or from any dealing with a business found through it.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes

We may change these terms. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.
